New Oil - The Fox, October 2011
In the seven years that I've lived at the Lake House, I've seen the fox a grand total of THREE times. That's one wily creature considering that this is technically an 'urban' area! I know that it dens on the lakeside embankment twenty feet from the house - but other then that, not much to report. This oil painting is a homage to this beautiful critter. Elusive & magnificent. Signed & Dated on Reverse. Contact me, if interested in purchase. Framing, Shipping & Handling is extra.

Saatchi Gallery Newspeak II exhibition video tour
If anyone can identify the fabulous musical score to this promo piece, I'd appreciate it. Me thinks it's Glass, but need confirmation. Anyone?
And yes, I've been 'linked' to Saatchi-online for a number of years now ...

'Finding Farley' NFB Film (62 min)
Stumbled across this beautiful little film at the National Film Board. It's a charming tale of one small family's determination to meet up with legendary Canadian author, Farley Mowat. The footage is excellent and the tale very moving. You'll be swept away by their amazing canoe trip ACROSS CANADA from Alberta to Nova Scotia.

I have one older oil painting n this show: 'The Passage'. This work interprets my many good years of exploring the northern lake district of Georgian Bay, in Ontario, Canada. 'The Passage'

Royal Botanical Gardens - June 2011
'Peace Rose' - Exquisite!
An evening stroll to a classical music interlude became a heady ricochet lurch from one intoxicating plant to another. Within the Royal Botanical Gardens in Southern Ontario is Hendrie Park, a delight for all senses: sight, smell, touch, and even taste, with a tribute to medicinal and herbal plants ...
More then anything, attentive looking amplifies the incredible diversity.
June is a time of FULL ON bloom. Cascades of colour and WALLS of delicious smells.
Classical Music on Tuesday evenings
Jazz & Blues on Wednesday evenings
ENJOY!!
